LOCATION

We are located north of the Helford river and approximately  3 miles from Helston and although we are tucked away, the A 394 is only 1½  miles away, giving guests an ideal base to tour the Lizard and south of the County.
The market town of Helston is nearby which provides a good  range of everyday facilities including banks, building societies, shops, a 24  hour supermarket, pubs, restaurants, and churches together with sporting  facilities.

Gill and John Plaister offer the perfect place to escape and  relax situated well and truly off the beaten track. Merther (martyr) Uny (St Euny)  Farm offers a Studio/annex for 2 people with a   fully equipped kitchen  and en-suite shower facilities. Also available is B&B accommodation and both have their own separate entrances.
Merther Uny is in a small hamlet at the end of a no-through  road approached along traditional high banked lanes, the grade 2 listed stone  cottage (formerly a farm or manor house) dates pre 1800’s and is near the site  of a Chapel named after the Cornish Saint Euny which decayed in 1584. All that  remains is a round headed stone cross marking the site of his martyrdom or  burial place.
Set in this private secluded location, we are surrounded by  fields and woodlands. Away from roads and traffic, the surrounding area offers  a year-round wealth of walks and wildlife with direct access to a bridleway /  public footpath. The hidden and unspoilt spot provides peace and tranquility,  with picturesque views over the wide open countryside towards the Lizard  Peninsular.

T.V. with DVD, CD Player and clock radio are available and single beds with an option to make into a king size if required. There is an on suite shower and toilet facility with a wash hand basin.
The Annex has a   fully equipped kitchen with  electric cooker, microwave, large fridge/freezer and toaster. In addition, there are facilities for use of a washing machine and dryer.
Price includes  storage heaters, hot water, linen, towels, other electric is by    electric meter and there is an area for visitors to BBQ if required.

The North Coast  is just 13 miles away. There are also beaches and coatal walks at nearby Porthleven and Mullion and there are many more lovely coves and  spectacular beaches around the Lizard Peninsular.
Pubs and Restaurants available nearby offering good food

DIRECTIONS

From the Truro - Falmouth direction on the A394 you will  come through Manhay (the road has approx ¾ mile of central red road markings  through it), at the next crossroads turn left towards Gweek (before the Jet  Garage), after half a mile turn left at Gable End cottage, where there is a post box in the wall, signposted to Treloquithack - Constantine.
